birthday / break the illusion

hi! I feel like I going to be writing in this thing a little too often, ahah but its not like anybody is really reading me. if you are, will you comment? thank you. (: its nice to know who's out there.

Well, in news. yesterday was my birthday! I turned 15 on the second to last day of summer. My friend Melissa Ridgeway took me to T REX at the legends, to stuff and build a dinosaur. its just like "build a bear", but its not a bear. it was really fun. We also had lunch together at Culver's "home of the butterburgers." One question: why the hell is it called a butter burger? it just sounds like something that will give me a hart attack. so not a very good decision on their part. but I must say, it was the most delicious thing I have ever had.

When I got home my mom cooed me a great meal of chicken tenders and a baked potatoe.
( I know, I sound like I have the requests of a five year old, but it was really good.) as for birthday cake, I had a smores cake with marshmallow filling and vanilla cake. yum, I blew out the candles as my mom and dad sang me their own version of "happy birthday" and I attempted to dance the tango. haha. it was a great birthday.

So we have one more day of summer. I haven't planned anything yet, except I'm going to go look at some bikes, and I'm going to take my permit test (lets see how that turned out, since I only studied for three days.) Well see what happens.

I guess, I will be posting late, thanks for reading senior!

p.s. I found this awsome blog. I think you should read, its called "BREAK THE ILLUSION". and it has some words to live by, by a great philosopher. named David. hes a cool kid.

.25 $ per tastebud.

...its 3:07 am. Ive been on the phone with Shelby Lewis, for about four hours now. we've talked about everything from sex, to politics, to how to make sequins out of steel. we even discussed "fannypack fiction. And when that awkward silence rolls around, we talk about how we woudl seel ourselves as prostitues. " I'm tired, and I must be at school at 10:30 tomorrow morning (Truth be told, Ill probably be late and show up around noon.). but its about time I got off the phone. I'm going to miss these long nights,

goodbye pointless phone calls in the wee hours of the morning, hello late night studying and interaction with my new best friend, the textbook. oh, I cant wait for school to start.

"live the life you imagined." <---- words to live by.

the turning tree

School starts on Tuesday. This is it, a whole new year at Staley. I know most people make a big deal about their freshman year or, their senior year, but who's to say this year wont be an adventure? Well, with a new year comes goals to set, so lets make the ground line. I will be auditioning for all the main stage productions at our school, and working very hard in dance. I am taking jazz, tap and technique(leaps and turns). I will be trying to uptain a 3.9 GPA and maybe in the spring I can take up tennis or golf. (for the first time in my life, I have never played a school related sport.) I also will plan on loosing fifteen more pounds this year ( with a successfully loss nearly twenty this past summer!(:)
Its less than a week before school, and I still don't feel ready. This past summer, was just so great with all the late nights, days at the pool, all the shows and theatre camp. Going to see movies every week, and hanging at the shopping center every other weekend. Doing what I want, when I want, well for the most part. haha.
So this is it, a whole new school year. All I have to say is, "bring it".
